You might know them as a creamer brand, but Coffee Mate has made their first move into the milk alternative category. They’ve officially launched Natural Bliss Oat Milk in classic Unsweetened and lightly sweetened Original varieties.

Natural Bliss Oat Milk Reviews & Info - dairy-free, vegan milk alternative from Nestle and Coffee Mate. Higher in protein and fat, lower in sugar

Natural Bliss Oat Milk aims for Higher Protein and Creamier Consistency

Yes, another oat milk. But Nestle, the parent company of Coffee Mate, thinks Natural Bliss Oat Milk will stand out from the pack for a few reasons. It’s higher in protein than most, thanks to the addition of fava bean protein. Both varieties are relatively low in sugar. And it is emulsified to be creamier and a bit higher in fat. You can see the full ingredients and nutrition facts below.

Natural Bliss Oat Milk FAQs

We’re addressing some common questions with products like this one.

Is Natural Bliss Oat Milk Gluten Free?

No, as noted, it contains wheat. We don’t know if it is cross-contamination with wheat from the oats, or if there is wheat in the natural flavors.

Why does Natural Bliss Oat Milk contain Soy?

We couldn’t tell you! It is likely in the natural flavor or could be in the fortification. But we appreciate that Coffee Mate disclaims their “hidden” allergens.

Wait, it doesn’t Have any Calcium?

No, unlike any other oat milk brand that we’ve seen, Natural Bliss Oat Milk is fortified with vitamins B2, B12, and D, but not with calcium. This can be a benefit for those who need a lower calcium diet, who prefer to obtain calcium via whole foods, or who already get sufficient calcium in their diet. If you want a milk alternative with calcium, see our Calcium Fortification Chart.
